Dickstein Shapiro LLP is pleased to announce that Jason R. Eig has returned to the firm as a partner in the Corporate & Finance Practice. Jason previously practiced with the firm from 1999 to 2007. He is a corporate attorney who represents clients on real estate, finance, and general corporate transactional matters focusing in many areas, including industrial, financial services, energy/commodities, health care, and hospitality.

Mr. Eig represents clients in a variety of real estate and commercial finance transactions and has extensive experience in matters involving the acquisition, development, management, leasing, and disposition of improved and unimproved property. He regularly represents borrowers, counter-parties and senior, mezzanine, and junior lenders, as well as lead agent financial institutions in structuring, negotiating, and documenting secured and unsecured credit facilities and structured commodity hedging transactions. He also has deep experience in a wide range of transactions, business ventures, and general corporate matters, particularly representing private equity funds, and privately held and publicly traded corporations. Prior to returning to Dickstein Shapiro, Mr. Eig was with Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP and McDermott Will & Emery LLP, respectively. He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from Georgetown University.
