International Corporate Partner David L. Woronov Joins McCarter & English in Boston

McCarter & English, LLP is pleased to announce that David L. Woronov has joined as partner with the firm’s corporate, securities and financial institutions practice in Boston.

Woronov has a diverse practice representing U.S. and foreign clients in international transactions, with specific focus in European and Asian markets. His areas of concentration include mergers and acquisitions and private equity, and involve advising on every stage of business development, structuring and management. In particular, Woronov’s experience includes the establishment of multiple equity joint ventures and contractual joint ventures for American and European companies in the People’s Republic of China.

Woronov, a former UK resident, is member of the Massachusetts and Rhode Island bar associations and was formerly an active member of Mackrell International. He speaks regularly on doing business in China, and was the keynote speaker at Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School’s spring conference on opportunities in Asia. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Asian American Civic Association and is a contributing writer to China Law Blog. He is also a former adjunct professor at Providence College, where he taught Business Law, Public Policy Studies and the Humanities. Woronov earned his law degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his A.B. from Duke University (magna cum laude).
