Edwards Wildman Expands Global Finance Practice with the Addition of Susan Neuberg as a Partner in Washington, DC

Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP is pleased to announce that Susan E. D. Neuberg has joined the firm as a partner in its Business Law Department, residing in the firm’s offices in New York City and Washington, DC.

An experienced transactional lawyer, Neuberg is recognized for her diverse expertise in the areas of real estate and structured finance, with extensive knowledge of the capital markets, particularly in the areas of commercial securitization, CMBS portfolio management, pooling and servicing agreements, transfer of servicing rights, and related rating-agency matters. In addition to structuring complex debt and equity transactions for financial institutions, investors and their advisors, she represents special servicers, senior lenders, and members of the capital stack in a broad range of transactions.

Neuberg is a graduate of the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law. She received a certificate in Cuban law and legal institutions from the Center for Cuban Studies at New York University School of Law; an A.M. in Latin American and Caribbean area studies from Stanford University; and her undergraduate degree from Binghamton University. Before returning to private practice, she was corporate counsel at Citigroup (the successor to Travelers Insurance Company), where she was senior counsel for the Investment Management and Recovery Group at Travelers Realty Investment Company (TRIC), The Travelers Companies, and the Alternative Investments Group at Citigroup Global Investments. Neuberg is admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut, and the District of Columbia. She joins Edwards Wildman from the law firm of Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft, LLP.
