Land Use Attorney Allison E. Turnbull Joins Holland & Knight

Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that land use attorney Allison E. Turnbull has joined the firm’s Orlando office as a partner. She was previously a partner with Baker Hostetler.

Ms. Turnbull is a recognized leader in land use law and well known in the Central Florida community. Her experience allows her to assist clients in all areas of real estate development, from matters relating to land use and zoning, acquisitions and sales, and financing, to legislative and governmental affairs at the local and state level. She is recognized as a top attorney in real estate and land use law by The Best Lawyers in America, as an “Up & Comer” in Florida Trend’s Legal Elite, and a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine. Ms. Turnbull is a member of the Central Florida Metro Orlando YMCA board of directors and the After School All Stars board of directors. She is also a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).

Ms. Turnbull’s experience in land use and real estate development, as well as her in-depth knowledge of the Florida marketplace and Central Florida development community, brings a new dimension to Holland & Knight’s already robust real estate practice.

“The timing of Allison’s arrival couldn’t be better. Just as the local business and real estate markets are recovering, we are adding an exceptional attorney who can assist clients with the entire development process from start to finish,” said Chris Brockman, leader of Holland & Knight’s Central Florida Real Estate Group. “Allison has been involved in a number of major projects in Central Florida, and will nicely complement our team of commercial leasing, retail, residential, and real estate finance attorneys.”

“I look forward to starting the next chapter of my career at Holland & Knight, a firm that offers a large national and international platform,” said Ms. Turnbull. “As my clients expand and their aspirations grow, they will surely benefit from the firm’s depth of experience across a wide range of specialties.”
