Baker Donelson Adds Carol Owen to Government Regulatory Actions Group

Carol Owen has joined Baker Donelson as a shareholder and a member of the Firm’s Government Regulatory Actions Group.

Ms. Owen joins Baker Donelson’s Nashville office and concentrates her practice in complex litigation and operations/risk management. She has key experience in environmental and financial services litigation and has worked with health care companies, manufacturers, financial services providers and waste management companies through complex litigation. She has successfully defended clients in environmental, securities fraud, contract, tort, trade secret and employment disputes, in federal and state court and before regulatory agencies. Ms. Owen also serves as pro bono counsel to Jane Doe 2 inĀ U.S. v. Adan, one of the largest sex-trafficking prosecutions in U.S. history.

A graduate of the Vanderbilt University School of Law, Ms. Owen is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America where she serves as vice chair of the Complex Commercial Litigation Institute. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, as well as the Nashville, Tennessee, and American Bar Associations.
