Latham & Watkins is pleased to announce that Simon Bushell has joined the firm’s London office as a partner in the Litigation Department. Bushell is a senior litigator, with substantial experience of large-scale, cross border, commercial litigation.
Bushell represents clients across a range of sectors, including banking and financial services, energy, commodities and governmental. He has undertaken complex investigations and multi-jurisdictional proceedings relating to frauds, conspiracies and insolvencies and has obtained numerous freezing injunctions, third party disclosure and search orders. He has also advised in relation to breaches of trust and fiduciary duty, professional negligence, bribery and corruption and shareholder disputes.

Bushell joins Latham & Watkins from Herbert Smith Freehills, where he co-chaired the London-based Corporate Fraud and Asset-tracing practice, launched its Russian Disputes practice and led the firm’s Crisis Management team.
