Bond Dickinson, the result of the merger between Dickinson Dees and Bond Pearce, has expanded its real estate team in Leeds with the appointment of Stephen Glass.
Stephen has joined Bond Dickinson from Eversheds as a director, just as the merger has taken effect.
He studied and qualified as a solicitor in Belfast before joining Addleshaw Goddard in Leeds in 2002. He moved to Eversheds in 2006 where he worked on many high profile development and investment transactions regionally and nationally.
Stephen explained: “I am delighted to be joining Bond Dickinson at a time when they are investing significantly in the firm. I am looking forward to working with the strong team that we have assembled and to building upon the firm’s excellent expertise and strong client base which has been consolidated by the merger.”
He added: “It is exciting to be working as part of a firm that is truly committed to the Yorkshire market place, and I am looking forward to helping the firm grow in both the private and public sectors.”
Stephen’s appointment is one of a series of significant appointments in Bond Dickinson’s real estate team in Leeds which includes Paula Dillon who joined recently as a partner from Addleshaw Goddard, and David Cole and Paul Hunter who have moved from Pinsent Masons.
Mark Owen, partner in the real estate team in Yorkshire who joined the firm last year from Pinsent Masons, commented: “Stephen is a talented and hard-working lawyer who will prove to be a valuable addition to our team. He has an excellent reputation, especially for his work with the public sector.
