Bryan Cave Adds Employment Partner to London Office

The international law firm Bryan Cave LLP today announced the addition of a new partner to the firm’s London office. Gary Freer joins the firm’s Labour and Employment Client Service Group and will serve as head of the UK team.

“Bryan Cave in London offers a broad range of legal services to international businesses, and employment law is a key part of that offering,” said Rodney Page, London office managing partner. “We are pleased to have a partner of Gary’s stature and experience join us now to lead and expand that practice.”

Freer advises and represents clients in all aspects of employment law, including in particular Executive Severance, team moves (including drafting and enforcement of garden leave clauses and restrictive covenants), unfair and wrongful dismissal, discrimination, and all kinds of Tribunal claims. He also advises on transfer of undertakings (TUPE) and on global mobility issues.

He has served in several management positions at his previous firm.

Freer is Chairman of the Employment Committee of the City of London Law Society. He is a regular speaker and writer on employment law issues.

“This is an exceptional opportunity to join Bryan Cave, an international law firm, at a time when businesses’ need for top quality labour and employment law advice have never been greater. I am delighted to be part of the continuing growth of its London office,” Freer said.
