The law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP is pleased to announce Lucinda J. Schettler has rejoined the firm’s Labor and Employment Relations Practice Group in the Milwaukee office, effective May 28, 2013.
Schettler has an extensive background in all aspects of employment law. She regularly provides practical and creative legal support and counsel on all employment issues affecting employers, including family and medical leaves, disability accommodation, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, wage and hour law, hiring and termination practices, and severance and settlement agreements. She has significant experience creating, reviewing and updating employment policies and practices, and has conducted many human resources compliance audits. She has experience litigating discrimination, harassment, retaliation, equal pay and other issues in state and/or federal courts, as well as substantial experience practicing before administrative agencies.
Schettler received a B.S. from Cornell University in 2000 and earned a J.D. in 2003 from the University of Virginia Law School.
