Hogan Lovells Hires Leading Environment Partner Santiago Garrido in Madrid

Hogan Lovells has expanded its global environment practice with the hire of a dedicated environmental law partner, Santiago Garrido.

Santiago has more than 15 years’ experience as a regulatory lawyer, specialising in energy, natural resources, health and environmental work. He was previously at Garrigues, where he led the environmental law department and previous to Garrigues he headed up the energy and environmental law department at Ernst & Young Legal.

Santiago has carved out a successful practice, providing legal advice to a high-profile client roster. Recent work has included advising the Spanish Association for the Management of Pharmaceutical waste (SIGRE) on regulatory and environmental matters as well as client Atlantic Copper regarding mining activities and the production of copper.
