McDermott Appoints Financial Regulatory Partner In Frankfurt

McDermott Will & Emery, a leading international law firm, has announced that Andrea A. Stockhorst joined its Frankfurt office as a partner. Prior to joining McDermott, Andrea was a managing associate in the financial regulatory practice at Linklaters.

“Andrea’s practice focuses on advising national and international investment companies, banks and financial services institutions on all aspects of German banking supervisory and investment law, as well as on regulatory law issues relating to M&A transactions and this meets a growing client demand here in Germany,” said says Dr. Oliver Lieth, head of McDermott’s financial practice in Germany.

Prior to her time with Linklaters, she had previously worked as in-house counsel at Deutsche Beteiligungs AG and in the financial regulatory practice at Clifford Chance.
