Leading global law firm Clyde & Co has today announced the appointment of partner Rebecca Kelly in their Dubai office. Rebecca re-joins the firm after nine years and will be part of Clyde & Co’s global Regulatory & Investigations practice, spearheading the firm’s offering in this area in the Middle East. Rebecca was previously the Dubai managing partner and head of litigation at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, leading its Middle East regulatory and disputes team.

King & Spalding has recruited projects lawyer Brendan Hundt as a partner in its Corporate, Finance and Investments (CFI) practice group in the United Arab Emirates. Hundt will split time between the firm’s Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices as a member of its Middle East Energy and Project Finance team. Hundt was most recently a partner in the Dubai office of Shearman & Sterling.
Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is significantly expanding in the Middle East, with the opening of an Abu Dhabi office in the Abu Dhabi Global Market and the hire of a seven-lawyer team in the United Arab Emirates. The new team includes three of the leading partners in the Middle East: Renad Younes and Samuel Ogunlaja who will join the new Abu Dhabi office, and Jade Chu, who will be based in Dubai. The trio arrives from Shearman & Sterling.
