Gowling WLG Welcomes New Corporate Partner to it’s Dubai Office

Gowling WLG is delighted to announce the arrival of Suhail Mirza as a partner to its Dubai based corporate team. This strategic arrival is a further step in the growth of Gowling WLG’s Dubai office. Suhail joins Gowling from the Dubai branch of Watson, Farley & Williams LLP.

Suhail advises local and international businesses on corporate and commercial transactions including M&A, private equity and corporate structuring/re-organisations. He also advises on employment matters for which he is recognised in Legal 500 2020 as well as anti-bribery, regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters for a wide range of clients across all sectors.

Suhail said: “I am very much looking forward to joining Tim and the wider Gowling WLG team in Dubai, their focus on Technology and Infrastructure amongst other areas is very much aligned with my practice. I am particularly looking forward to working with the leading Technology and IP team’s on the ground and working with their projects and infrastructure team which has significant regional experience”.

Suhail’s appointment is a continuation of Gowling Dubai’s strategy to build out its corporate team; recently bolstered by the hire of Dominique Gustave-Nielson a newly qualified associate from our London office and Sachin Seth a 3-year PQE associate from our Toronto office. This expansion supports the firm’s commitment to focus on core areas of Corporate, Technology and Intellectual Property, giving strength and depth in the capability to serve clients.
