Bird & Bird Boosts Dispute Resolution Practice with the Appointment of Lucas Pitts as Partner in Dubai

Lucas joins from Baker Botts where he was a partner in the International Dispute Resolution practice. He has over 10 years’ experience advising clients on commercial disputes in the telecommunications, banking, energy and aviation sectors.

Lucas specialises in banking, technology and fraud disputes and is experienced in obtaining freezing injunctions, pre-action and specific disclosure orders as well as providing advice on foreign proceedings. He advises on cases under the Civil Procedure Rules of the English Court, DIFC, ICC, LCIA, GCC Commercial Centre and DIAC arbitrations as well as arbitrations proceeding under the 1996 Arbitration Act and the Oman Arbitration Act.

Lucas is admitted to practice in England, Wales and the United Arab Emirates.
