Seasoned Litigator Joins Hinshaw’s Aviation and Aerospace Team in Chicago

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Brian Benoit has joined the Aviation and Aerospace team as a partner in Chicago. Formerly with KMA Zuckert LLP, he represents aviation and aerospace companies, as well as other businesses, in complex litigation and risk management, and also serves as outside general and litigation counsel.

"Brian has an impressive track record in trial and appellate courts," said Michael McQuillen, leader of Hinshaw's Aviation and Aerospace team. "His proven ability to navigate complex disputes further enhances our team's capabilities in resolving the complex and varied legal challenges facing the aviation industry."

Brian represents companies across the aviation sector, including aircraft owners, carriers, maintenance providers, and manufacturers, in a wide range of litigation matters, including insurance coverage, catastrophic injuries and accidents, and commercial disputes. His 'part of the team' approach to representing businesses of all sizes has proven invaluable to making sure clients' long-term goals are the top priority. He decided to join Hinshaw because of the firm's broad range of legal services, depth of experience, and respect from those inside and outside of Hinshaw.

"Hinshaw's leading reputation in the aviation sector provides me a great opportunity to further expand my practice," Brian said. "The firm's broad range of service areas provides an excellent platform to serve my clients' legal needs. I look forward to working with my Hinshaw colleagues to address the growing legal challenges of aviation companies and helping to expand the firm's litigation and advisory capabilities."

Prior to joining KMA Zukert, Brian practiced at various law firms in the Chicago area. He received his BA in political science from the University of Arizona and his JD from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law.
