Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr Further Strengthens its Litigation Practice With Addition of Casey T. Grabenstein

Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP today announced that Casey T. Grabenstein has joined the Firm as a partner in the Litigation Practice. Mr. Grabenstein is resident in the Chicago, Illinois office.

Mr. Grabenstein handles complex commercial litigation and compliance counseling for clients nationwide across an array of industries, from alcoholic beverage and financial services to higher education and product manufacturers. An experienced trial lawyer and member of the Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois, Mr. Grabenstein represents Fortune 500 and other major companies in jury trials and appeals at both the state and federal level. His litigation experience includes class actions involving securities, consumer fraud, and ERISA, including a case for a major university. He also handles litigation involving products liability, including serving as national counsel for multiple companies, breach of contract, and employment disputes. He has resolved disputes through arbitration, obtaining multiple awards on behalf of clients after successful arbitration hearings. In addition to his litigation experience, Mr. Grabenstein acts as general outside counsel for companies, particularly in the food and beverage industry.

“Casey’s experience will deepen our bench of attorneys who represent clients at trial, particularly when they face complicated disputes,” said Edward “Ted” Baines, chair of the Firm’s Litigation Practice. “He also brings a nuanced understanding of the factors that lead to litigation from his deep experience counseling clients on compliance issues.”

Mr. Grabenstein earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from University of Illinois School of Law. He also has a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
