Foley Adds Bankruptcy Partner Mark Radtke to Chicago Office

Foley & Lardner LLP announced today that Mark Radtke has joined the firm’s Bankruptcy & Business Reorganizations Practice Group as a partner in its Chicago office. Radtke has extensive experience advising clients on corporate reorganizations and trusts, creditors’ rights, and bankruptcies. Radtke joins the firm from Cozen O’Connor, P.C.

For 20 years, Radtke has advised debtors, trustees, receivers, assignees for the benefits of creditors, committees, financial institutions, secured and unsecured creditors, foreign representatives, interest holders, directors and officers, business owners, and asset purchasers in a wide variety of complex restructuring, bankruptcy, insolvency, and commercial matters both in and outside of court, including Chapter 7, 11, and 15 cases. Radtke represents clients from various industries, including manufacturing, retail, real estate, automotive, trucking, financial, publishing, entertainment, health care, energy, and service industries.

Radtke’s experience includes developing distressed workout strategies for debtors and creditors, assisting clients with asset sales, and developing and implementing reorganization plans. He has also litigated contested matters in state, federal, and appellate courts, including contract disputes, UCC rights, director and officer and shareholder disputes, and multi-million dollar avoidance actions. Radtke also has extensive experience investigating fraud and pursuing rights and remedies on behalf of receivers, trustees, and other fiduciaries, including indenture trustees. His experience includes numerous proceedings and transactions with international parties and cross-border implications in North America, Asia, and Europe.
