FisherBroyles Welcomes William Dolan

FisherBroyles, LLP is pleased to announce that William F. Dolan has joined the firm as a Partner in Chicago. He previously worked at Jones Day, where he was a Partner.

William joins the Firm’s Litigation Practice, bringing decades of experience to the Firm. An accomplished trial attorney, he will continue to focus his practice on complex litigation matters, including antitrust litigation, labor and employment disputes, corporate valuation disputes, consumer class actions, and corporate governance matters.

His clients have ranged from start-ups that grew into multibillion-dollar entities, to drug and chemical companies, construction companies, copyright, trade secret, and trademark owners, employers (including parties addressing non-compete and so-called employee raiding issues), bottlers, and restaurant groups. He has tried matters to judgment in courtrooms and arbitral proceedings throughout the United States.

William frequently advises clients on pro bono matters, supporting various worthy causes. He also assisted in the formation of a nationwide non-profit which instructs students about the challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship.

William is a member of the Illinois bar, the Trial Bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and a member of the bar of the First, Seventh, and Eighth Circuits. He is also a certified mediator, successfully settling matters in various areas.

William is a frequent author and speaker on antitrust law and other legal-related topics, including trial techniques.

He received his B.A. from Columbia College and J.D. from Columbia Law School.
