Deal Lawyer Greg Hawver Joins McGuireWoods’ Highly Ranked Private Equity Team in Chicago

McGuireWoods’ strategic expansion of its highly ranked private equity industry team continued with Greg Hawver bringing his deep experience in domestic and cross-border M&A deals to the firm’s Chicago office.

Hawver represents public and private clients in corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, minority equity investments, recapitalizations, joint ventures and reorganizations. He also advises on corporate governance, business entity formation and commercial contracts.

Hawver handles significant deals in the energy, healthcare, automotive, aerospace and manufacturing industries, among others. In addition to his corporate practice, he represents at-risk children pro bono in guardianship cases. He comes to McGuireWoods from Winston & Strawn.
