Andrea L.C. Reid, Dr. Andrew Wilkins and Dr. John Rearick have joined Cooley as partners in the firm’s patent counseling and prosecution practice and global litigation department. Arriving from Dechert, the trio collectively brings decades of experience advising pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies across the business life cycle on comprehensive IP strategies, patent portfolio creation and management, diligences and transactions.
Based in the Boston office, the team will advise the firm’s global life sciences clients on the strategic acquisition, protection and monetization of patent rights. They will be joined by a team of special counsel, associates and patent agents, adding more than 30 new professionals to Cooley’s global life sciences practice.
