Guida, Slavich & Flores – Patricia Finn Braddock Joins the Firm’s Austin Office

Guida, Slavich & Flores, PC. is pleased to announce that Patricia Finn Braddock has joined the firm as a shareholder in the Austin office. Braddock was recently recognized in a Texas Lawyer peer survey as one of the five most respected environmental attorneys in Texas.

“Pat is a highly-distinguished environmental attorney with a national reputation on air quality control matters,” said Joe Guida, managing shareholder at Guida, Slavich & Flores. “We are delighted by the depth she will add to the environmental law services we provide to our clients.”

Braddock has almost 40 years’ experience in the field of environmental law. Her practice focuses on permitting and enforcement matters before federal and state regulatory agencies, and associated litigation, in all environmental media, but primarily in the area of air pollution control.

“A number of the lawyers at Guida, Slavich & Flores have been close personal friends, and former coworkers or opposing counsel over the past four decades,” said Braddock. “In the 1970’s, Paul Seals and I worked together for years as government lawyers for the State of Texas. I also worked with Carrick Brooke-Davidson on my first case in private practice. I am sincerely honored to call these lawyers my new colleagues.”

Prior to joining Guida, Slavich & Flores, Braddock was a partner in the Austin office of Fulbright & Jaworski LLP since 1992. She had joined that firm in 1987 after working in senior positions at predecessor agencies to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality in air, water and solid waste permitting and enforcement matters. She received a J.D. from St. Mary’s School of Law and a B.A. from the American University.
