Jones Day Welcomes Scott Edson and Jason Keehfus as Partners in Business & Tort Litigation Practice in Atlanta

The global law firm Jones Day has announced that Scott Edson and Jason Keehfus have joined the Firm as partners in its Business & Tort Litigation Practice, based in the Atlanta Office. The pair join the firm from King & Spalding.

Mr. Edson has extensive experience representing clients in complex litigation, including class actions, mass actions, and multidistrict litigation, in both state and federal court. He has advised clients in all stages of litigation, from initial pleadings through discovery, trial, and appeal. Mr. Edson is a frequent writer and lecturer on various aspects of law and legal practice.

Mr. Keehfus has a wide range of experience in defending both liability and punitive damages claims in challenging jurisdictions around the country, and is especially proficient in taking and defending depositions of medical and scientific witnesses. He is a first-chair trial lawyer who has tried dozens of multiweek product liability lawsuits to verdict. Mr. Keehfus also works with the National Veterans Legal Services Program to obtain increases in disability benefits for U.S. military veterans.

Mr. Edson earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his law degree from Duke University. Mr. Keehfus earned his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and his law degree from the Syracuse University School of Law.
