Bond, Schoeneck & King (Bond) is pleased to announce that Christopher Chase has joined the firm as senior counsel in its Albany office and as a member of the firm’s health care and long-term care practice groups.
Chase joins Bond with extensive experience advising health care providers and other regulated entities on a wide range of regulatory and compliance matters. His practice includes counseling clients on fraud, waste and abuse issues, compliance programs, privacy and confidentiality requirements, licensure matters, provider contracting, billing and enrollment disputes and audit preparedness and defense. He has particular experience with government programs including Medicaid, Medicare, and Child Health Plus.
Before entering private practice, Chase served for a decade at the New York State Department of Health, where he advised agency leadership and the Governor’s Office on numerous issues, including Medicaid managed care, long-term care, home care, waiver programs, eligibility matters, litigation and labor-related concerns. During his tenure, he also played an active role in the state budget process, drafting legislative language, advancing agency priorities and supporting negotiations with the New York State Senate and Assembly.

Based in Albany, Chase further strengthens Bond’s longstanding presence at the intersection of health care, government relations and public policy. His firsthand experience working with state agencies, policymakers and executive branch officials provides clients with a deep understanding of the legislative, regulatory and budgetary processes that shape New York’s health care environment.
At Bond, Chase will advise a wide range of health and human services stakeholders, including hospitals, long term care, mental health, managed care, and home care providers, and other practice groups on regulatory compliance, licensure, reimbursement, government investigations, fraud and abuse, audits and operational issues. Bond’s health care and long term Care practice groups are headed by Raul A. Chase earned his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, and Juris Doctor from the University of Houston. He is admitted to practice in New York and Texas.
