Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented Controladora Mabe, S.A. de C.V., a Mexican manufacturer and distributor of white line products, in connection with its successful offer to exchange its 6.500% Senior Guaranteed Notes due 2015 (“2015 Notes”) for its 7.875% Senior Guaranteed Notes due 2019 (“2019 Notes”) and the related consent solicitation. The transaction involved the issuance of approximately $130 million in aggregate principal amount of 2019 Notes in exchange for tendered 2015 Notes pursuant to a reopening of the series.

Cooley Secures Key Patent Infringement Decision for Gevo
Cooley LLP announced today that a Delaware federal judge denied a motion for preliminary injunction against Cooley client Gevo Inc., in a patent infringement suit filed by Butamax. The Opinion, delivered on June 19, stated that “the court has concluded that plaintiff does not hold a valid patent, nor would the defendant infringe if it did.”
