International law firm McDermott Will & Emery today announced that high-profile securities litigators John A. Sten and Jason C. Moreau have joined the Firm as partners in the Boston office. Mr. Sten was previously a Shareholder with an AmLaw 10 law firm where he was chair of the Boston office’s Securities and Broker-Dealer Groups. Mr. Moreau was previously a Shareholder with the same firm.

Elaine Walsh, who represents a wide array of energy industry clients in a number of major transactional and regulatory matters, joined Baker Botts L.L.P. today as a partner in the firm’s Washington office.

Perkins Coie has added Timothy Carroll as Partner in the Intellectual Property Litigation practice. He is accompanied in the practice by Matthew Carmody as Partner and Steven Lubezny as Associate. They join the firm in Chicago from Loeb & Loeb LLP.

Mayer Brown, a leading global law firm, announced today that John J. Sullivan has rejoined the firm as a partner in its Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in Washington, DC.  Mr. Sullivan was a partner in that office and practice before beginning five years of government service that culminated with his appointment in 2007 as Deputy Secretary of Commerce.  Since returning to private practice in 2009, he has been a partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
