Hogan Lovells Advises Government of Mexico in Procurement of One Billion Dollar Satellite System

Hogan Lovells has represented the Government of Mexico in its recently-announced $1 billion contract with Boeing to deliver an end-to-end satellite communications system. Shearman & Sterling represented E.CL S.A., a Chilean power company, in connection with its Rule 144A/Regulation S offering of US$400 million aggregate principal amount of its 5.625% Notes due 2021. E.CL is engaged in the generation, transmission and supply of electricity and the distribution and transportation of natural gas in the north of Chile, as well as the transportation of natural gas in Argentina.
