Prominent Antitrust Trial Lawyer David Cross Joins MoFo

Morrison & Foerster is pleased to announce that David Cross has joined the firm as a partner in the Global Antitrust Practice Group and will be based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. He is a trial lawyer with extensive experience in antitrust and other complex business litigation.

Mr. Cross has represented some of the world’s leading companies in antitrust litigation and brings exceptional experience to the firm’s global antitrust practice. Cross also has extensive experience advising clients regarding electronic discovery issues, from preparing for litigation to addressing spoliation issues. In addition, he has a robust pro bono practice as an advocate for civil rights for the LGBT community and others.

Mr. Cross joins a team of antitrust lawyers who are recognized leaders in the courtroom, the boardroom, and the halls of government. With a global practice advising multinational companies, Morrison & Foerster advises clients on all aspects of antitrust law, including criminal and civil investigations, merger clearance, and business conduct investigations.

Mr. Cross joins the firm from Crowell & Moring, where he co-chaired the electronic discovery practice. He received his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2003, where he served as an editor for the Journal of Law & Social Problems and a teaching fellow. After graduating from law school, he clerked for the Honorable Michael B. Mukasey, former chief judge of the Southern District of New York and U.S. attorney general.
