Leading IP Litigator Joins Baker Botts

Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international law firm today announced that Michael V. O’Shaughnessy has joined the firm’s award winning Intellectual Property Practice, based in Washington.

Mr. O’Shaughnessy’s practice focuses on patent litigation and appeals, as well as proceedings before the PTAB. He has handled cases involving a variety of technologies, including biotechnology, medical devices, pharmaceutical, automotive and chemical. He has served as a first-chair litigator and has extensive experience in all phases of matters before arbitrators, juries and judges.

Mr. O’Shaughnessy joins a team of over 180 IP lawyers and patent professionals, whom collectively hold more than 220 scientific and technical degrees, spanning diverse fields such as computer science, electrical engineering, life sciences, biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, aerospace engineering and others.
