Our client is the São Paulo office of a premier, international law firm with an immediate need for a corporate associate with 2-4 years of major law firm experience. All candidates should have experience on international financing and business transactions, particularly capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border financings, and joint ventures. Top academic credentials (Top 20 JD; Top of Class - no exceptions) and fluency in spoken and written English and Portuguese is also required. Being licensed to practice in New York is also preferable. This firm boasts one of the best international transactions practice groups in the world and their Brazil presence is deep and growing.
