O’Melveny Welcomes Corporate Partner in San Francisco

O’Melveny & Myers LLP is pleased to announce that Scott D. Elliott has joined the Firm’s San Francisco office as a partner in the Transactions Department and co-head of the Firm’s Life Sciences Practice.

For more than two decades, Elliott has provided corporate and transactional counseling to life sciences and technology companies and their investors. He remains involved with clients across the life cycle of their business, from incorporation to venture funding, growth counseling to sale or IPO. Elliott is an experienced transactional lawyer, advising public and private company clients and financial sponsors on acquisitions, buyouts, going-private transactions, and minority investments as well as public and private securities offerings.

“Scott’s practice enhances our offering to key life sciences clients,” O’Melveny Chair Bradley J. Butwin said. “With his deep transactional experience, he also adds strength to our corporate team in the critically important Northern California market.”

Elliott earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of California Hastings College of the Law, where he was a member of the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly, and his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. He frequently presents on topics such as public offerings, private equity, venture capital, and securities laws.
