TE Connectivity to Sell Broadband Network Solutions Business for $3 Billion

The Firm is representing TE Connectivity Ltd. (NYSE: TEL) in connection with its definitive agreement to sell its Broadband Network Solutions business to CommScope, Inc. (NASDAQ: COMM) in a cash transaction valued at $3 billion. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2015, and is subject to customary closing conditions including required regulatory approvals.

TE Connectivity is a global technology company leader headquartered in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, providing connectivity and sensor solutions to customers in over 150 countries across a wide range of industries. CommScope, a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group, is a telecommunications company based in Hickory, North Carolina that helps companies around the world design, build and manage their wired and wireless networks.
