Prominent Capital Markets Partner Joins Latham & Watkins in New York

Latham & Watkins LLP is pleased to announce that Michael Benjamin has joined the firm in New York as a partner in the Corporate Department. Benjamin represents issuers and investment banks in a broad range of public and private transactions, including high yield and investment grade debt offerings, initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, leveraged buyouts, cross-border securities offerings and liability management transactions.

Benjamin is highly regarded within the capital markets community. He has a wide variety of experience, principally in the high yield, debt and equity capital markets in a broad range of industries, including healthcare, media and telecommunications, technology and consumer retail.

Benjamin joins Latham & Watkins from Shearman & Sterling in New York. He received a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales in 1997 and received a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance), with merit, from the University of New South Wales in 1994.
