Archer & Greiner is pleased to announce that Ronald D. Coleman has joined the firm as a Partner, increasing the firm’s depth of experience in its established Intellectual Property practice. Mr. Coleman is a commercial litigator who focuses his practice on copyright, trademark and unfair competition.
Mr. Coleman is highly regarded for his extensive experience and expertise on issues related to the use and abuse of intellectual property on the Internet. He is the author of a widely-read and respected blog on legal issues pertaining to intellectual property, copyright and free speech, LIKELIHOOD OF CONFUSION®. Long an opinion leader in the interface between technology and intellectual property law, in 1995 Mr. Coleman authored the first article on Internet law in the ABA Journal, and has since become a regularly-featured speaker at major intellectual property conferences on issues as diverse as the abuse of IP law to stifle competition and innovation, copyright “trolling” programs and the controversy over registration of “disparaging” trademarks.
