Norton Rose Fulbright today announced that Jeffrey I.D. Lewis, an intellectual property lawyer focusing on patent litigation, including Hatch-Waxman cases, has joined the global law firm as a partner in its New York office.
A trained chemical engineer, Lewis is licensed to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office and has extensive experience representing clients in the life sciences and healthcare as well as the technology and innovation sectors.
Lewis, who comes to Norton Rose Fulbright from Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, also handles trademark matters, as well as other intellectual property and general litigation.
Lewis has litigated more than 30 cases before the US Federal District Courts, and has argued numerous appeals before the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Lewis, who is licensed to practice in New York and Connecticut, earned his JD from the Cardozo School of Law and his BSE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut. A frequent writer and speaker on patent and patent litigation issues, he also serves on the Advisory Board of IP Litigator magazine and IP360.
