McDermott Adds Experienced Capital Markets Partner Gary Emmanuel to Corporate Practice in New York

McDermott Will & Emery announced today that experienced capital markets lawyer Gary Emmanuel has joined the firm as a partner in its Corporate Advisory Practice Group in New York.

Mr. Emmanuel arrives from a nationally recognized securities and corporate law firm, where he was head of its Israel practice. He has extensive experience working on initial public offerings and follow-on capital markets transactions, including for life sciences and technology companies in the US and Israel.

Mr. Emmanuel has more than 15 years’ experience representing US and Israeli companies in their respective markets. He has advised on a full spectrum of capital markets transactions including initial public offerings, private placements, PIPEs, bridge financings, registered direct offerings and secondary offerings.

He previously served in the Military Court of Appeals of the Israel Defense Forces and holds the military rank of legal officer.

Mr. Emmanuel received his LL.M. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his LL.B. from Queen Mary College-University of London. He is admitted to practice in New York and Israel.
