Holland & Knight Expands Corporate Practice in New York with Addition of Arman Kuyumjian

Arman Kuyumjian has joined Holland & Knight’s New York office as a partner in the firm’s Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group. Mr. Kuyumjian represents public and private companies, as well as private equity funds, in mergers and acquisitions, distressed and cross-border transactions, and joint ventures and other strategic alliances. He also provides counsel on corporate governance issues, shareholder activism, defensive measures and other strategic considerations. Most recently, he was a partner at Baker McKenzie in New York.

Mr. Kuyumjian frequently represents local and multinational clients in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, medical devices, asset management, communications, high tech, energy and real estate industries.

“Arman has more than 15 years of experience handling sophisticated corporate transactional work, including in industries that are a strategic priority for the firm,” said Amy Leder, the co-head of Holland & Knight’s New York/Stamford Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group and executive partner of the New York office. “He is a terrific addition to our team and will help us to continue to grow and develop our practice in New York.”

Mr. Kuyumjian received an LL.B. degree from the University of Western Ontario and an undergraduate degree from McGill University.
