Andrews Kurth LLP is proud to announce that noted corporate transactions and mergers and acquisitions attorney Thomas P. L’Helias has joined the firm’s corporate practice as a Partner in New York.
Mr. L’Helias represents U.S. and non-U.S. financial institutions, Fortune 500 companies and private equity funds in a variety of corporate transactional matters.

Mr. L’Helias joins the firm from Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P., where he was a Partner. He represents some of the world’s leading companies in the banking and finance, professional services, real estate and health care industries. His experience includes advising both purchasers and sellers in connection with mergers and acquisitions, representing issuers and underwriters in public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities, counseling financial institutions and private equity funds in complex real estate and infrastructure transactions, and advising clients on general corporate governance and compliance matters.

Mr. L’Helias earned his law degree from the Boston University School of Law after securing undergraduate degrees in finance and political science from The University of Pennsylvania.
