Orrick Adds Commercial Litigation Partner in Washington, D.C. and New York

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP announced today that Christina Guerola Sarchio has joined the firm as a partner in its commercial litigation practice. Sarchio joins the firm’s Washington, D.C., and New York offices from Patton Boggs LLP where she served as Co-Chair of the Government Investigations and Litigation Practice Group.

“Christina is a first-chair trial lawyer with over a decade of noteworthy trial victories in criminal and civil cases – qualities that are difficult to find,” said Bill Molinski, head of Orrick’s Commercial Litigation practice.

From fast-moving injunction proceedings and complex financial disputes to class actions, real estate and consumer litigation and multi-district and cross-border business disputes, Orrick’s commercial litigation lawyers are regarded for trying and winning cases throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Sarchio concentrates her practice on commercial litigation, antitrust and white collar criminal defense matters. She has significant trial experience in federal and state courts, and has represented Fortune 500 and other clients in both criminal and civil litigation, including class actions. Sarchio’s cases have involved antitrust, contract, business torts, employment, intellectual property, environmental and franchise/dealer issues. Her representation spans several industries, including oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, alcoholic beverages, transportation, tobacco and consumer products.

“What attracted me to Orrick is the collaborative nature of its practices and partners,” said Sarchio. “The firm has an impeccable reputation for representing prominent corporate clients and individuals in high-stakes litigation and I’m excited to share my insights and continue Orrick’s track record of achieving outstanding results.”

Sarchio began her legal career at the Manhattan District Attorney’s office as an Assistant District Attorney. She has served as the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Vice President of External Affairs and is a past President of the Hispanic Bar Association of D.C. She earned her J.D. from George Washington Law School and her B.A. from Cornell University.
