On August 27, 2012, Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. announced that it has entered into a definitive merger agreement to acquire Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. in a transaction with a corporate enterprise value of approximately $2.3 billion. Cravath represented Hertz in this transaction. The Cravath team was led by partners Scott A. Barshay and Minh Van Ngo and included associates Keith Hallam, Michael S. Darby and Seunghee (Cindy) Ham on M&A matters; practice area attorney Michael Krasnovsky and associate Neetin Gulati on executive compensation and benefits matters; partner Michael L. Schler and associate Kara Mungovan on tax matters; and partner Matthew Morreale on environmental matters. Summer associate Daniel Cerqueira also worked on M&A matters. |
