Evan Jowers is the Head of Asia Recruiting at Kinney Recruiting. He has had extraordinary success in biglaw recruiting, particularly in Asia, having made more than 150 US attorney biglaw placements in Asia in the past five years, easily more than any other recruiter in the industry. His focus since '06 has been moving US associates to Asia and within Asia, with particular emphasis on Hong Kong / China. Evan has also made partner level placements in Asia and in the US. He has been recruiting since '03, with an emphasis on US major markets initially, and his first Asia placement in '05. He has made placements at most of the major US and UK law firms in Asia and has also been successful in placing US attorneys in various banks and funds in Asia.
