Emil R. Infante Joins Holland & Knight’s Corporate and Latin America Practice

Prominent local attorney Emil R. Infante has joined Holland & Knight’s Miami office as a partner and member of the firm’s Corporate and Latin America Practices. He was formerly a partner with DLA Piper. In the past, he was managing partner of the well-regarded boutique firm, Infante Zumpano.

“Emil is a respected member of the Miami legal community who has a very strong practice representing wealthy Latin American families, their operating companies and their family offices,” said Roberto Pupo, leader of Holland & Knight’s South Florida and Latin America Corporate Practice. “His clients have a diverse set of needs that perfectly complement our corporate, arbitration, tax, private wealth and government affairs practices. Mr. Infante’s corporate practice touches upon a large number of areas, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions transactions, financial services and financial regulation, and international dispute resolution. Additionally, he has significant experience with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, anti-corruption, anti-money laundering investigations and compliance within the United States and Latin American markets. He is a member of the Consejo Empresarial de America Latina (CEAL), an organization of more than 500 private entrepreneurs from 20 countries in Latin America, Puerto Rico and Miami.

Mr. Infante received a J.D. degree from St. Mary’s University, an LL.M. degree from Georgetown University Law Center, an M.A. degree from University of Dayton and a B.A. degree from Sacred Heart University. He is also a graduate of St. Mary’s Institute on World Legal Problems in Innsbruck, Austria, where he continues to serve as a visiting professor.
