Cozen O’Connor Finalizes Addition of Intellectual Property Lawyers from Nationally Recognized IP Powerhouse, Feldman Gale, P.A.

Cozen O’Connor, an Am Law 100 firm, today announced that it has finalized a deal to add a team of lawyers from Miami-based Feldman Gale, a nationally recognized intellectual property boutique. The lawyers have started working in Cozen O’Connor’s Intellectual Property Department across its Miami, New York and San Francisco offices.

Cozen O’Connor first announced the transaction on June 2. The addition continues the firm’s growth in South Florida and California and brings substantial intellectual property strength in areas such as patent procurement, opinion work, and patent litigation in both federal courts and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), trademark procurement and litigation, non-compete litigation, information technology law, trade secrets, copyrights and business litigation.

The lawyers who have joined Cozen O’Connor’s Intellectual Property Department in Florida include Feldman Gale founders Jeffrey Feldman and James Gale, as well as partners Samuel Lewis, Susan Latham, Thomas Dye, Victor Castellucci, Javier Sobrado, and associates Dr. Gene Lang, A. Robert Weaver, David Stahl, Matthew Horowitz and Jonathan Gale. Partner Lawrence S. Gordon has joined the San Francisco office, and Ashley Kessler has joined Cozen O’Connor’s New York office as an associate.

Feldman and Gale will co-chair the firm’s newly formed national Intellectual Property Litigation Group within the IP Department.
