Trial Lawyer Jack Yeh Joins Sidley in Los Angeles

Sidley Austin LLP announced today that Jack S. Yeh has joined the firm in Los Angeles as a partner in its Complex Commercial Litigation practice. He will be based in Sidley’s Century City office. Mr. Yeh is an experienced trial lawyer who has represented some of the largest companies in the world.

“Jack is an extraordinary talent,” said Rollin Ransom, co-leader of Sidley’s litigation practice in Los Angeles. “He leads high-stakes cases for blue chip clients as a first chair trial lawyer. He augments our robust litigation team on the West Coast, which has extensive experience across multiple disciplines, including class action, consumer protection, and entertainment and media litigation.”

Mr. Yeh has litigated commercial disputes throughout the country and has significant experience in the litigation and trial of complex business conflicts. He has represented both publicly traded companies and emerging businesses in a wide range of industries, including energy, oil and gas, real estate, media and entertainment, advertising and technology. Mr. Yeh also has deep experience representing clients in government-regulated industries. He has tried disputes concerning environmental issues, governmental regulations, the California Environmental Quality Act, public contracting, competitive bidding, negotiated procurement, conflicts of interest, political contributions and similar governmental-related matters involving state, regional and local public agencies.

Mr. Yeh also has been active in advancing the diversity of the legal profession and has led the development of successful diversity initiatives. He has written and spoken on diversity topics in a number of forums. In addition, The National Asian Pacific America Bar Association previously named Mr. Yeh as one of its “Best Lawyers under 40” and he has been recognized as one of the 500 New Stars on Lawdragon’s New Worlds list.
