Prominent Healthcare Group Joins BakerHostetler

BakerHostetler is proud to announce that leading healthcare attorneys Noah Rosenberg, Lenard “Len” Pick, and Lauren Wilson have joined the firm’s Los Angeles office and the national Healthcare Industry team. Rosenberg and Pick join as Partners and Wilson joins as Counsel. Rosenberg will serve as co-leader of the national Healthcare Industry team with Christopher J. Swift and B. Scott McBride. All three join from Rosenberg and Kaplan, a Beverly Hills-based law firm focused exclusively on healthcare law for hospitals, health systems, physician practices, and employers. They are known for developing industry-leading collaborations among hospitals and physician groups, and among healthcare providers and healthcare insurers seeking creative solutions to provide high-quality, accessible, and cost-effective healthcare to large client populations.

Rosenberg, Pick, and Wilson join the more than 50 attorneys across BakerHostetler who focus on counseling healthcare clients in a highly regulated and complex industry that continues to undergo significant change. The firm also possesses a unique, national presence in the academic medical center, children’s hospital, and healthcare entity data breach sectors. The team includes former senior managers with hospitals and health centers, research centers, health maintenance organizations, and third-party purchasers of healthcare. The Healthcare Industry team combines these unique perspectives with attorneys across multiple practice areas impacting healthcare entities, including corporate, contract, managed care, antitrust, employment and labor, data breach and compliance, litigation, white collar, business, tax, government policy, and intellectual property.

“Noah, Len, and Lauren are recognized throughout the United States for delivering innovative solutions and sophisticated counsel to hospitals and physician groups,” said Steven Kestner, Chairman of BakerHostetler. “Their breadth of work further enhances our substantial healthcare practice and their collaborative approach to client service fits very well with our firm’s culture and focus.”

John Cermak, Managing Partner of the Los Angeles office, added, “When you think of advisors who can precisely navigate the constantly evolving healthcare law in and out of California, you automatically think of Noah, Len, and Lauren. Their more than 75 years of combined experience provides clients with an unparalleled level of confidence in this complicated, rapidly changing field as they work together to reach appropriate solutions. We look forward to helping them continue to develop cutting edge healthcare deals for clients here in California and across the U.S.”

“We are excited that these experienced attorneys are joining our national Healthcare Industry team and enhancing our capabilities to assist healthcare providers with complex legal matters, especially in California,” said Swift. “Scott and I also are very happy to welcome Noah as a national co-leader of the team.”
