Financial Services Partner Timothy Spangler Joins Dechert

Dechert LLP is pleased to announce that Timothy Spangler has joined the firm as a partner in the financial services practice group. He advises clients on the structuring and formation of, and investment in, international and domestic private investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, venture capital funds and fund-of-funds.

Prior to joining Dechert, Spangler served as practice group leader and partner in the investment funds group of other international law firms. He has worked around the world, including Los Angeles, New York and London. He will be based in the firm’s Orange County office.

Spangler is a graduate of University of California – Los Angeles and Vanderbilt University Law School. He is a member of the California and New York Bars, and is admitted to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales.
