Littler Enters Peru

Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, will combine with Peru’s leading labor and employment law boutique, Estudio Gonzalez & Asociados, effective November 1, 2014. Littler’s expansion into Peru is part of its global growth strategy that includes combining with leading firms in key international markets through Littler Global.

Based in Lima, Estudio Gonzalez & Asociados is led by senior partner César Gonzáles Hunt, a well-recognized practitioner and academic in Peru. Gonzáles Hunt has more than 20 years of experience representing clients on labor, social security and pension matters. He has represented several entities of the Peruvian government on employment issues, including the National Pension Office, the Congress of the Republic, and the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Gonzáles Hunt is a labor law professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and past president of the Peruvian Society of Labour Law and Social Security. He has also served as chair and member of numerous arbitration tribunals that have resolved collective bargaining and other workplace disputes.
