Senior Energy Transactions Counsel - Fort Worth

Our client is a Fort Worth based operating company seeking a senior corporate / energy transactions counsel to join the local team.  The successful candidate will have substantial experience in the representation of oil and gas operators and landowners in a broad based energy practice. The most important experience is work on transactional matters, including the purchase and sale of producing properties, natural gas processing and sale agreements, farm-outs, large joint development agreements, seismic agreements, complex rural and urban oil and gas leases and surface use agreements and wind leases.  Experience in Texas as well as Kansas, Pennsylvania and Colorado will be most effective.It will also be preferred for the candidate to have experience representing clients in a wide variety of energy-related litigation matters, including cases involving oil and gas royalty underpayments, oil and gas lease termination issues, seismic trespass claims, inverse condemnation of mineral rights by governmental entities, as well as other energy-related contract disputes.Additional preference will be shown to candidates with experience in commercial real estate transactions, partnership agreements and the like. Please send an email with your information to chris@kinneyrecruiting.com.
