Junior to Senior L&E Associate Attorney

The Houston office of our client, a top AmLaw firm, has an immediate opening for a Labor and Employment Associate with a minimum of 2 years of labor and employment litigation experience. The successful candidate will have experience in trial preparation, depositions, and motion hearings. You must be able to manage cases on his/her own and be able to assist on cases managed by others. The duties include the following:
◾Handle all aspects of civil litigation, including conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, motions practice, and trial
◾Develop and draft employment-related documents including employment policies and agreements
◾Provide labor and employment law compliance and human resources counseling

Candidates should have a strong academic record from a nationally respected law school and an equally impressive undergraduate degree, as well as large law firm experience and excellent references. Strong verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to excellence are also required.
