Norton Rose Fulbright today announced that Brett Young, a complex commercial litigation lawyer, has returned to its Houston office as partner. He started his legal career with Norton Rose Fulbright in 2003, advancing to partner before departing to K&L Gates LLP in 2014.
Young focuses his practice on catastrophic event response, personal injury defense, premises defense, product liability defense and environmental litigation. He defends product manufacturers and petrochemical facilities in toxic exposure lawsuits, managing a docket of several dozen cases involving alleged exposure to benzene, butadiene, ionizing radiation, chlorinated solvents and other industrial chemicals.

Young, who is licensed to practice in Texas and Louisiana, received his JD from The University of Houston Law Center and his BBA in finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
