Bracewell & Giuliani LLP served as primary legal counsel to Prosperity Bank Inc. in connection with its $375 million acquisition of FVNB Corp. and First Victoria National Bank for, a deal recently named “Deal of the Year” by The Houston Business Journal in the banking category.
The deal closed on November 1, 2013, making it the second-largest deal in Prosperity’s history. This deal will bring a $540 million-asset trust business to Prosperity.
